Note change of Office Hours for the summer:
M-F, 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Please call the church office if you are aware of persons hospitalized
or in need of pastoral care. It is especially important to let the
ministers know about out-of-town hospitals. Thank you for your help.
Please inform the church office of recent graduations, weddings,
etc. We like to honor and keep track of our young people as they
attain significant events in their lives. Let us know!
From the Board of Trustees Chair: Due to the construction on the
Church House, no building use forms will be approved until closer
to the completion of the Church House. The only exception will be
for events scheduled by the church. Thank you for your understanding.
Calling or Crafter! (or, willing helpers!) The Harvest
Fair isn't
that far away when you think about it and I am chairing the Holiday
Table. I am planning a craft night for Tuesday, August 9th at 7:00
at my house. I will have the ideas and supplies, I just need the
extra hands to make it more fun! If you do not feel crafty but want
to help anyway, we could use any supplies (CD's, bright colored tissue
paper, straw hats, small dried or silk flowers) or decorations you
want to donate - I will not say no to anything. Call me for directions
or suggestions at 508-747-6460 and thanks for you help! Suzanne Anderson
Special Worship Service honoring Dan Spacek: Please mark your calendar
and plant to join us for a special service of worship in honor of
Dan Spacek on Sunday, August 28th at 10am. We have much to be thankful
for in the three years of service he has provided us. Please help
us honor him and wish him luck in his future endeavors!
First Women's Fellowship Event: I know August has only just begun,
but we wanted to put a bee in your bonnets about the first fellowship
event of the year. The annual Pilgrimage Women's Fellowship potluck
dinner will feature a guest speaker this year on Monday, September
12 at 6:30pm. Keep an eye on the herald for upcoming details or call
Jenny (508-747-7168) or Marna (781-826-2543).
